Talking Points from the CIC committee HERE.

Attention members…the former United States Senate Bill 3963 has been reintroduced in the House as HR 1846, Medicare Access to Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Services Improvement Act.  The Bill does two things:

1.  Essentially overturns the 2005 CMS therapy-incident to rule and makes it consistent with the intent of how physical medicine and rehabilitation services are intended to be provided in physician offices.

2.  Makes athletic trainers and lymphedema therapists covered providers under Medicare.

NATA needs your action now and in the future!  We need every member to support this Bill.  Sign your postcards, get your friends, relatives, co-workers, physicians, etc to sign the postcards and go to the members only section to download the letter that needs to accompany the cards since it explains the change from SB 3963 to HR 1846.  Numbers mean everything to Congress, so get these done asap and mail them in Now!

FOR CURRENT NATIONAL LEGISLATIVE INFORMATION go to the CIC Committee Webpage.
