John "Jack" McNeeley

  • Jack attended Lakewood St. Edward High School prior to enrolling at Miami University, where he earned both his B.S. and M.Ed. degrees

  • Assistant Trainer with the Cincinnati Bengals- 1968

  • Head Athletic Trainer at Cleveland State University - 1969 to present

  • Medical Coverage coordinator for Cleveland's Revco Marathon and 10k race - 1978 to present

  • Athletic Trainer for U.S. team at World Games for the Dear - Cologne, West Germany (1981) and Los Angeles (1985)

  • Athletic Trainer for U.S. Track and Field team at World University Games in Rome, Italy - 1975

Kenneth R. Rusche

  • A graduate of Reading High School in Cincinnati, Ken attended Ohio University, where he earned his B.S. degree

  • Certificate in Physical Therapy from The Ohio State University (1974) and M.Ed from University of Cincinnati (1980)

  • Director - The Christ Hospital Sports Medicine Institute (1994 - present); Executive Director of Wellington Orthopedic and Sports Medicine (1984 - 1994); Asst. Professor - Dept. of Physical Therapy - University of Texas/Galveston and Asst. Trainer - Houston Oilers (1982 - 84); Director of Rehabilitation - Cincinnati Sports Medicine (1977 - 82)

  • Athletic Trainer for U.S. Swim Team at World Championships in Rome, Italy (1994) and International Meets in Perth, Australia (1989 - 90) Monte Carl, Morocco (1985)

  • Ohio Clinical/Professional Athletic Trainer of the Year (1992)

 
       
   

Willard Webster

  • Born in Ambridge, PA and received his B.S. from Geneva College

  • Athletic Trainer at Youngstown State University from 1938 - 74; also served as Athletic Director, Chairman of the Biology Dept., and pre-medicine advisor

  • Heritage Award (1985) for his contributions, the highest honor Youngstown State University can bestow upon an individual

  • Charter member of the Youngstown State University Athletic Hall of Fame

  • Athletic Training facility dedicated in his name (1994)

  • Charter member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association, and attended the first convention in Kansas City in 1950
