Richard "Doc" Iliano

  • A native of Cleveland, "Doc" received his B.S. from Baldwin-Wallace College and his M.A from Western Reserve University.

  • Served as athletic trainer and assistant professor at John Carroll University for 32 years (1947-1978)

  • Inducted into John Carroll Hall of Fame in 1971.

  • Assisted Hall of Famer, Leo Murphy, with the Cleveland Browns from 1960-1980.

Dan Rasor

  • Dan raised in Troy, Ohio, received his B.S. in Biology from Ohio Northern University and his M.S. from Antioch College.

  • Began his career as a teacher/coach for Wayne High School from 1963-1967.

  • Since 1967 has served as teacher/head athletic trainer at Oakwood High School.

  • Honors include O.A.T.A. High School Trainer of the year in 1990, and special recognition by the Ohio House of representatives as an educator.

 
       
   

Larry M. Starr

  • Larry received both his B.S. in Education and his M.Ed from Ohio University after graduation from Carrollton High School.

  • Assistant Athletic Trainer at Ohio University from 1968-1971, before becoming Head athletic Trainer with the Cincinnati Reds, where he served from 1971-1992.

  • Currently is the Head Athletic Trainer with the Florida Marlins Baseball Club.

  • An all-star trainer for the National League four times, Larry's 1991 Cincinnati staff was selected Major League Training staff of the year.
