After
graduation from Newark St. High School, Gary attended
Denison University, then received his M. Ed. from Bowling
Green State University
He
began his career as Assistant Trainer at Ohio University
prior to becoming Head Trainer at Ashland University from
1974-81
After
7 years as Head Trainer at Children's' Hospital Sports
Medicine, Gary became Facility Supervisor for Sports Medicine
Specialists in Akron where he has been since 1988

A
native of Findlay, John attended Findlay H.S., received
his B.A. from University of Findlay, and M.S. from Indiana
University
After
one year at Lincolnview Local Schools in Van Wert, John
became teacher/athletic trainer at Fostoria City Schools
where his career has spanned 30 years
As
a Charter member, John was instrumental in efforts to form
the OATA and has served on the Licensure Committee and
on the Executive Committee form 1984-88
Kenneth C. Wolfert
A
native of Kirtland, Ken attended Ohio University after
which he became Assistant Trainer to the late Al Hart.
Ken
was Head Athletic Trainer at Cleveland State University for
one year prior to moving to Miami University where he was
Head Athletic Trainer from 1968-81
Served
as Ohio representative to the GLATA from 1970-79, member
of OSMA/OHSAA Joint Advisory Committee on Sports Medicine
from 1972-81, and was co-chair of the original committee
for licensure of Ohio athletic trainers in 1976.
