Garry O. Miller

  • Earned Bachelor of Science from Bowling Green State University and Master of Arts from Central Michigan University
  • Began career as Assistant Athletic Trainer at Bowling Green, 1976-78 after which he worked as an athletic trainer in the Chicago Cubs system

  • Athletic Trainer, St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, Ill., 1983-84

  • Athletic Trainer, Rocky River High School, 1984-85

  • Athletic Trainer/Office Manager, North Coast Orthopedics, 1985-87

  • Program Director/Assistant Professor, Baldwin-Wallace College 1987-present; over 50 students have become ATC's

  • Bechberger Award for Human Development, Baldwin Wallace College

  • OATA Newsletter Chair, 1987-1996

  • OATA College Committee 1996-present

  • Resides in Columbia Station with his wife, Heidi; two sons, Jon and Ben

  • Resides in Beavercreek with his wife, Lillian and daughters Maria and Melissa

       
   

Marion R. "Rudy" Owen

  • Athletic Trainer and Equipment Manager, Otterbein College, 1960-1987

  • Athletic Trainer, Columbus Jets Baseball Club, 1966-68

  • Athletic Trainer, Rochester Red Wings Baseball Club, 1969-72

  • Athletic Trainer, Charleston Charlies Baseball Club, 1972-73

  • Athletic Director's Award of Distinction, Otterbein College, 1999

  • Very active in civic and church organizations in Sunbury, Ohio

  • Prior to his death in 2000, Mr. Owen lived in Sunbury with his wife, Virginia; three children - Judy Wright, Bill Owen, and Polly Frentsos all reside in the Columbus area
